Fatima Convent High School has been established by the Catholic Diocese of Jammu-Srinagar in April 1983 as a Christian Minority Educational Institution under the Indian Constitution and is recognized by the Government of Jammu-Kashmir and affiliated to Jammu-Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE). The Policy of Education in the schools run by the Diocese of Jammu-Srinagar Education Society is based on the life and teachings of Lord Jesus Christ. This policy encompasses the development of a growing consciousness of Human Dignity and Human Rights of every person. The school serves children regardless of caste, creed or circumstance to achieve their full potential and provides its staff members a pleasant and committed work culture and atmosphere. This enables a person to LIVE IN FELLOWSHIP AND MUTUAL HELPFULNESS. The policy has concern for all GOD'S PEOPLE within the local community where the school is situated especially for those of Christian faith and materially poor. Fatima is a co-educational school. The school focuses on the development of knowledge and skills enabling a student to BE A LOYAL CITIZEN.
